Made-to-measure furniture
New buffet furniture, counters and fitted units manufactured in-house and installed for the space.
Projects / Hospitality
A complete refurbishment of the hotel’s all-you-can-eat buffet, delivered while the hotel remained operational.
The brief
Grade A was contracted to refurbish the all-you-can-eat buffet at the Humberside Airport hotel while the hotel continued to operate. The work needed to be kept separate from guests and hotel activity.
Temporary hoarding was set up around the works to help contain dust and provide fire protection between the work area and the occupied hotel. This allowed the refurbishment to be organised around a live setting.
The scope went beyond a surface refresh. Grade A refurbished the area with new buffet furniture bespoke-manufactured in-house, new solid-surface worktops and integrated tops, tiling, painting and decorating, serving equipment and replacement flooring.
Scope of works
Bespoke manufacture, finishes and buffet equipment were brought together around the new serving layout.

Solid-surface worktops created and integrated with the new buffet tops and serving units.
